Let Me Help You Find Success!

There's no cure for fibromyalgia and many other chronic invisible conditions, visually best described using spoon theory to explain our limited energetic resources and the choices we have to make. Doctors are still uncertain about what causes fibromyalgia and its widespread symptoms and why some treatments work for some and not others.

However, most doctors now recommend lifestyle medicine for the best results for fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

We may not be able to cure it, but we can manage itI know what it's like to feel alone, unsure of what to try next, and like a burden to your loved ones. It is easy to get overwhelmed and lose sight of hope. Through my 4-part coaching system, we work to rest, reset, rewire, and put your symptoms into remission. Putting you back in control of your life and your pain.

Many of us find out we have fibromyalgia through the process of elimination via tests and trials. Bloodwork, imaging, and stress tests, to name a few. Similarly, pain becomes chronic when there's no solution left on the table other than management: medications, therapies, diets, supplements, and the endless list of social media-marketed cures aimed at your desperation.

Ultimately, we face a long road of many specialists trying to treat each of our symptoms individually. We end up on a mix of pharmaceuticals, a referral to a physical therapist, and a recommendation for diet and exercise—maybe yoga or walking.

Meanwhile, we are scrambling to just get by. Just get to work and hopefully not have to leave early again from the pain. Just have a few days where you don't have to drag yourself out of bed in the morning only to come home and flop right back down on the couch. It's really hard to keep going. But you have to.

Until you can't.

You just want someone to give you a procedure or prescription that's going to get you back on your feet and feeling like yourself again. Just a break from the pain and fatigue. A break that lasts.

If you are here, then I know you want to feel better. It is possible. That’s where I come in. I am here to help determine what keeps you from health and wellness. Together, we identify your challenges and develop an in-depth strategy to implement new patterns and strategies. You will learn techniques that will lead to success by addressing the root cause. We create change plans that work and address the whole body, utilizing research-driven methods for optimal wellness.

Some clients have an idea of what they'd like life to be, but it seems impossible. Fibromyalgia and chronic pain can sabotage plans and create stress and strain that wreaks havoc. As I just mentioned, most women enter "survival mode," pushing through as much as possible. A cycle of overdoing and crashing. All with a smile, searching for relief from crippling pain and fatigue. The suffering stays hidden as much as possible. Some things work, some don't. Symptoms are as varied as the colors of the rainbow. When you get a good day, you make the most of it. You want things to change. Of course you do! But nobody seems to be able to figure out what and how!

Change is hard. It is not a linear process. When we fall, it can be hard to get back up again. We want things- our schedules, energy, lives, and relationships to be as before pain and fatigue took over. It can be hard to ignore the negative thought patterns controlling the behavior you want to change. But the good news is that our brain can relearn new patterns, which can be reinforced over time to replace the old completely.

Pain and fatigue result from an overactive nervous system that sends up red flags, placing the body in full reaction mode to protect it. These red flags, in turn, control our bodily reactions and responses. When a system in the body gets overwhelmed, it begins to malfunction. These malfunctions create chain reactions and reinforce the need for the red flag. Using lifestyle medicine that addresses the whole body in a supportive environment allows you to transform your life.

We must learn how to change our reactions, regulate the nervous system, create a supportive environment, and maintain a detailed plan for healing. This is a lot to manage for someone struggling with a chronic illness or pain. I have found this true for myself and countless others, so I developed a coaching program to maximize your health with fibromyalgia—a program designed for your unique needs that gets you moving forward and out of the flare cycle.
